We are actively recruiting new members for our club.
Would you like to learn more about the hobby? Whether you are interested in learning to fly or are a seasoned flyer
we are the club for you.
The purpose of the Armstrong R/C Flyers club is to promote and encourage interest and activity in radio control model aviation.
The club resides on 45 acres, our runway is over 800 feet long and 130 feet at the widest. The club membership is geared toward
flying all types of planes.
Lessons are available with training aircraft to help those starting out in the hobby or for those who would like to try flying first
and see if this is the hobby for them. If you are an experienced flyer coming from another club, we hope you will find our club
a good fit. Members fly a lot of different aircraft using glow, gas, and electric power. We have only three meetings a year. With at
least two picnics a year for flyers and their families. If you want a laid back atmosphere to enjoy this hobby, check us out and see
what we're about.
Families and spectators are always welcomed.
